The funds that Skagerak Venture Capital AS manage has been involved in more than 30 portfolio companies since 1998.  The portfolio companies are primarily within ICT, renewable energy and the offshore supply industry. 

Metallkraft:
The wafer cutting process, a crucial step in the production of solar panels, requires large amounts of cutting slurry.  Metallkraft introduces a patented technology that ensures that spent slurry is effectively recycled and that all pollutants are turned into commercially interesting products. This technology results in 100% recycling without adding any chemicals. The recycled slurry retains fully its cutting abilities, at a fraction of the cost of fresh slurry.  Metallkraft is a Kristiansand based company founded in 1999.  In March 2009 Metallkraft opened a plant in Yangzhou, China, and is also building a plant in Singapore which is planning to open in 2010.

Numo:
Numo AS (former Mobile Nordic AS) is a Norwegian based mobile application company, founded in 2006.  Their products are based around the mobile application Numo Finder (previously 118 Mobile).  In February 2009 the company was awarded "Best Innovative Consumer Application" for Europe in the EMEA Tournament in Barcelona, for their innovative global interactive phonebook. The Numo Finder application automatically does a reverse lookup on incoming callers in real time, and without navigating to the message folder you can get previews of SMS messages and see who is sending them as they arrive.  In addition the application gives you the opportunity to do manual searches on names and numbers.

Penetrace:
Penetrace offers a marketing intelligence tool which monitors, benchmark and simulate campaign performance. The software enables its users to achieve maximum return on marketing investments. Penetrace software is offered as a web-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution, where all the software is installed in Penetrace's server, and is accessible by the client through the internet. Penetrace was established in 2007, and is located in Oslo. 

Presens:
Presens develops and supplies pressure sensor solutions based on proprietary patented technology.  The unique design of the sensing element enables extremely accurate measurement of pressure and temperature.  The highly reliable data generated by the sensors is ideal input for advanced monitoring and control systems, allowing them to operate to their full potential.

Zisson:
Zisson is a Norwegian corporation that has developed technology that enables mobile operators and Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) to offer new, innovative value-added services to its corporate customers.  Zisson's unique technology combines the utilization of Mobile Voice over Internet Protocol (MoIP) and GSM for business communication.  In addition, Zisson has developed a solution for providing PBX/switchboard as an online service including all features as IN functionality, conference, queue, presence management etc.

UFIS:
UFIS Airport Solutions is a respected player in airport information technology.  UFIS's airport experts are known for their innovative approach and long-term experience of more than 20 years in airport business process engineering.  UFIS has a wide base of customers and an extensive range of systems installed in more than 25 of the world's leading and busiest airports.

Nordic Ceramics:
Nordic Ceramics develops advanced ceramic material, primarily used in the production of solar panels.  With experience from marketing in more than 20 countries, Nordic Ceramics can serve the global ceramic industry with the highest quality products.

Integrasco:
Integrasco is a leading Internet Word of Mouth research and consulting firm which helps clients to make sense of the buzz found on blogs, bulletin boards and any other interactive consumer channel.  Integrasco are pioneers in the field of data mining and in possess of comprehensive mining technology.

Norsk Hummer:
Norsk Hummer is based on the production of lobster juveniles for sea ranching purposes and consumer lobster from own production facilities.  They have established a production line with a production capacity of more than 100.000 lobsters.

Nordic Saudi Holding:
Nordic Saudi Holding AS is the parent company of the oil tool business company in Saudi Arabia named Nordic Energy Services KSA, that was previous a subsidiary of Nordic Energy Services AS.  The company supply standard tools and innovative thru tubing tools and service to the oil and oil service companies in the Middle East, but they also completed jobs for major oil companies worldwide and have furthermore established a reputation for quality, service and safety.

Stimline:
Stimline provides equipment for wireline and coiled tubing interventions.  The company was founded in Calgary, Canada, where it has until yet delivered truck mounted wireline and coiled tubing equipment for onshore applications.  At its new site in Kristiansand, Norway, the company is now developing modern wireline and coiled tubing equipment for offshore applications.
