  • Erik Edvard Tønnesen

    Managing Partner

    Erik is Managing Partner in Skagerak Venture Capital AS, and was one of the founders of the company.  Erik has a long and versatile background from management within banking, insurance and finance.  Previous experience includes Head of Sparebanken Sør in Kristiansand and responsible for the corporate department.  He was partner and responsible for the establishment of Acta Sunndal Collier in the Southern part of Norway, and was the CEO of Gjensidige Nor, responsible for business in the Southern part of Norway.

    Erik has vast experience as Chairman or Board member in several different companies, and is today the Chairman of the portfolio company Metallkraft AS.

    Education:  Erik took his MBA at the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (BI) in Oslo in 1981.

  • Trym Skeie

    Trym is one of the main founders of Skagerak Venture Capital AS (SVC), where he currently is a partner and holds the Chairman seat.  Before establishing SVC in 2006, Trym was with Kistefos Venture Capital as an Investment Manager within the IT/Telecom area.  He also has an offshore industry background through active involvement and Board seats in companies such as Sinvest ASA, Premium Drilling AS, Wellquip AS and Venture Drilling AS.  Earlier he has worked as a Vice President at Silicon Capital Ltd, a Manager in Accenture and a structural design engineer in Hydralift.

    Trym`s current Chairman/Board seats in portfolio companies includes:  UFIS, Presens AS and Numo AS.

    Education:  Trym holds the equivalent of a Masters degree from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH), and a MSc. from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTH). 

  • Jørn Kristian Lindtvedt

    Jørn was one of the funding partners of Skagerak Venture Capital AS and started to work with the company from day one.  His previous work experience includes 5 years in Kistefos Venture Capital as an Investment Manager, and several positions in Elkem ASA and Accenture.

    Jørn's current Board seats includes Nordic Ceramics AS, UFIS, Kongsberg Airport Systems AS and Presens AS.  Jørn also hold the Chairman of the Board seat in Penetrace AS and Zisson AS.

    Education:  Jørn holds a Master in Technology Management from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

  • Terje Berg-Utby

    Terje joined Skagerak Venture Capital AS (SVC) in November 2006 as an analyst.  Prior to joining SVC he worked as a research associate at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), institute for industrial economics and technology management.

    Terje's current Board seats includes:  Nordic Ceramics AS, Integrasco AS, Penetrace AS and Zisson AS.

    Education:  Terje holds a master of science from the institute for industrial economics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Terje also holds a PhD on Venture Capital Ownership from the same institution.

  • Andrè Berg Edvardsen

    CFO/Partner

    André is CFO/Partner in Skagerak Venture Capital AS, and joined the team in July 2007. André has earlier worked with shipping. He was previously employed at JoTankers, which operate the world's third largest parcel tanker fleet. Major tasks in Jo Tankers were ship financing, cash management, market analysis and reporting. André was heavily involved in reorganizing and movement of the fleet from Holland to Singapore as well as restructuring international lease agreements. André also has experience from the banking industry.

    Andrè is a Board member in Numo AS.

    Education: André has a Master in Business and Administration from The Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH) in Bergen.
